It's been a warm week dancing & we want to thank everyone for continuing to come out. As many of you are already aware, the Met Office has issued a Red/Amber alert for early next week with temperatures potentially reaching 36º-37ºc. We will therefore be cancelling ALL classes on Monday 18th & Tuesday 19th. As much as we will miss dancing with you all, safety is our main priority. Classes will resume on Wednesday (20th), so make sure you book in.

Remember to stay hydrated. Keep cool & be safe.

Tips

  • Try to keep out of the sun between 11am - 3pm. Avoid exercising during this time too.

  • Apply sunscreen and wear a wide brimmed hat.

  • Drink plenty of fluids and avoid excess alcohol. Make sure to take water with you if you travel.

  • Look out for those who may be struggling to keep cool & hydrated.

  • NEVER leave anyone in a closed, parked vehicle - especially infants, young children & pets.

  • Close curtains on rooms that face the sun to keep indoor spaces cooler.
