To all our wonderful members,

 

Where do we even begin…

 

We can’t thank you enough for the support over the past 30+ years. We’ve made some incredible memories, met the best people along the way and most importantly shared our love of line dancing with each and every one of you - even if you hated it at first lol. It has brought us much joy - well maybe not Del - to watch you grow and have fun on our dance floor. Creating a space for everyone to feel comfortable and safe in, no matter what life throws at you is the biggest win​ - never mind the tags & restarts lol.

 

As of the end of June 2026, we will be closing permanently. Yes, you read that correctly, this week will be our last week of classes and socials. We understand that some will be away or can’t make classes and for this we truly are sorry!

 

Some of you will be reading this in shock, some will be thinking “wow this has been a long time coming” and it really has. It has come as a bit of a shock to us as well as we have been down this same path many times over the past 30 years except it’s really happening. We ourselves haven’t had much time to think or process any of it yet.

 

However, this isn’t the end! - I can feel a sense of relief. Not really, it’s just the end of our Culpepper​s era. Cassey & Courtney are excited to announce the next era, Pepper Steppers, a little nod to our history. We will be continuing classes & socials which will all be confirmed once we’ve had the chance to sit down & visit some potential venues. We won’t be able to stick to our current timetable, but we will do our best to provide a class that will suit you. It will still be local, we will still teach the same way, the same dances and hopefully with all of you. Our plan is to start very very soon.

 

This means there will be new spaces opening up for classes of all levels, we will start to introduce Absolute Beginners again. If you know of anyone who will want to attend please let Courtney know ASAP. She will be putting together a list of attendees that will receive an email full of information, how it will all work - it will be very similar with a booking system - etc. or head to our brand new website peppersteppers.com to sign up.

 

Remember, what makes us special isn’t the bricks and mortar, it’s all of us. It’s the laughter, it’s the wrong steps, it’s the love of line dancing.
